Have you accepted Jesus yet?
Accepting Jesus is a big commitment that offers an even bigger advantage. When we confess Jesus with our mouths and believe Jesus in our hearts, we are literally saying, “Lord I accept you.”
When we accept Jesus, we accept His love, His will, and His purpose for our lives. By faith, we also accept the joy of Jesus, the peace of Jesus and the victory of Jesus! Have you ever had the joy of the Lord to be your strength or had the peace of Jesus that surpasses understanding? Moreover, have you experienced overwhelming victory through Christ Jesus?
When we accept Jesus, we accept ALL of Him. Accepting Jesus takes faith and trust even when we don’t understand. Accepting ALL of Jesus means that we also accept tribulations.
When life gets challenged or troubles feel like they are overtaking you, I encourage you to fully accept and trust the will of God. Even when it doesn’t make sense, accept and trust God’s purpose. God has a purpose and a plan for you even in the midst of difficulties. Jesus was in the midst of being crucified and still He accepted and trusted the will of God.
In this Resurrection Season, I want to remind you that Jesus has accepted you just as you are. Jesus gave up His life even before you accepted Him. Think about that for a moment; while we were yet sinners, Christ died for me and you!
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Accept the good, the not so good and everything in between. Accept the grace, mercy and favor of Jesus. Accept the of Jesus. Accept the promises of Jesus that will never fail. This Resurrection season, just accept Jesus and all that He is!
